Gnomenreigen ‘Dance of the Gnomes’ is an etude composed by Hungarian virtuoso Franz Liszt. This etude is known for its technical difficulty; the pianist must imitate the sound of gnomes with fast yet soft running notes.
Lucas performed this piece at the Yamaha National Piano Competition (2011), where he won the 3rd prize.
