Music

What defines a language? Is it merely a simple way of communication? Is it a system of structures and grammars? Or, is it everything that delivers our thoughts and feelings? The answer could not be more delicate than the question itself.

I do believe in a broad, open-minded definition of language; every single thing that delivers what we think and what we feel shall be entitled as a language. And, one single language has influenced me greatly.

This language is highly structured and demands high attention to the way it is spoken. It has precise instructions on how we should speak it – from tempo to dynamics. Thus, these demands give me nothing but a cautious, precise attitude.

Nevertheless, how can we endeavour with our feelings if we are limited to grammatical rules? We should surpass grammatical and technical difficulties while nourishing our feelings artistically.

But, the beauty of this language is right inside that irony: Abstract yet accurate, artistic yet grammatical, free yet organised, contradictions that has taught me to see the world from various perspective while maintaining my own belief and principals.

What a wondrous language, which has trained me to be diligent and consistent. An artistic language that taught me to speak freely and artistically in an organised manner. It is the universal language of music.
